PixShrink (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) is an image compression and processing tool for iOS.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
By using this App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of data to provide and improve our services:
Identifiers
User ID: Anonymous UUID generated locally for user identification and analytics. Not linked to your identity.
Device ID: Device model, operating system version, and device identifiers for app functionality, analytics, and third-party advertising (if applicable).
Purchase Information
Payment Information: Processed by Apple through App Store. We do not directly collect payment details.
Purchase History: Subscription status and purchase records for app functionality (managing subscriptions, restoring purchases).
Usage Data
Product Interaction: User actions such as page views, button clicks, feature usage, and image processing events for analytics and app functionality.
Other Usage Data: Session IDs, timestamps, app version, language, timezone, and system information for analytics and app functionality.
Ad Data: Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data for third-party advertising (if applicable).
Diagnostics
Crash Data: Crash logs, error reports, and diagnostic information for app functionality and analytics.
Performance Data: App performance metrics for app functionality and analytics.
Other Diagnostic Data: Additional diagnostic information for app functionality and analytics.
User Content
Photos or Videos: Selected images for compression processing. All processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or analyze photo content.
Email or SMS: If you use the feedback feature, we may send feedback emails. Email addresses are only collected if you provide them.
Customer Support: Feedback and support requests you submit through the app.
Permissions
Photo Library Permission: Used only to select images and save processed results. No data is transmitted to our servers.
Network Access: Used for advertisements (free version), in-app purchase validation, analytics, and update checks.
Notification Permission (optional): Used only for task completion reminders.
Background Processing Permission: The App may continue processing images in the background when you switch to other apps or lock your device. This allows large batch processing to complete even when the App is not in the foreground. Background processing is managed by iOS and may be limited by system resources and battery level.
App Badge Permission: The App may display a badge number on the app icon showing the remaining number of images being processed. This helps you track processing progress when the App is in the background. The badge is automatically cleared when processing completes or is cancelled.
